Who We Are

Until 2010, we were known as the Brown Bug Project, providing web design and marketing services for small business owners and solo entrepreneurs.  We're now the Give Back Project, and while we still offer the same (and even more) services, the vision for our company has changed.

Our Mission

Essentially, with every website we build, we hope to accomplish two things.  First, we'll help our client create a great website that will help reach his or her own goals in life and business.  We'll still operate from the same guiding principles - to offer websites that look good, are a true representation of the people they represent, are easy to maintain, don't cost what a car costs, and are simple, clean, and easy to navigate.

Second, we'll provide opportunity to someone who longs for self-reliance and independence.  For the start of 2010, we launched our apprentice program, where we'll begin training low-income and hard-to-employ people how to build websites and create high quality content for our clients.

Our Designs

Over time, we're coming to appreciate the true value of simplicity.  The more complex the design, the less likely you are to update it and the harder it will be for visitors to navigate it.  We focus on creating designs that are simple, elegant, and user-friendly.
